World Goa Day: Charcoal painting workshop for kids on the 15th August, 2010 at the Gonsalves Mansion, Campal - Heritagejazz

Charcoal Painting Workshop

The Gonsalves Mansion is buzzing with activities starting today i.e 15th August upto to the 20th August, 2010 in celebration of Independence day of India as well as World Goa Day Celebrations. Mr. Armando Gonsalves, Heritage Jazz has to be complimented for his efforts to promote Goan culture, our language konkani and art.

Today a Charcoal painting workshop was organised for kids from standard V to Standard X by Shri. Rajendra Usepkar. Shri. Rajendra Usepkar, a renowned artist from Goa. The workshop introduced the children to the techniques of Charcoal painting and also on Oil pastel.

The workshop had around 50 participants which also included children the underprivileged section of the society. The did paintings in pastel and Charcoal.
